I mean, I understand why in PS they want you to have a base secured for 15 mins, through a hack. I understand why they want you to only spawn within the SOI, if you hadn't binded to an adjacent base before hand. And I understand why they want you to stick together as a large team, and targets don't die quickly. but sometimes you need SOME broad appeal if a game is going to survive. I hate this idea tbh, i love sitting in my reaver blasting stuff as a support roll, covering friendly mags, LLU's etc.
The thought of my reaver not having any rockets is just....scary. Whats needed is a heavier restriction on this, instead of just costing 5 points(its 5 points right?) it needs 5 cert points and at least 5/10 hours of flying in the air in a galaxy, mosquito, lodestar etc. Or u can have the reaver, but cant use the rockets untill uve certed them or achieved atleast 5 hours in the craft. Not amount of kills but amount of time, and with time i dont mean sitting idle in sanq, the time should be only counted on a contested continent. Thinking of this, i should of filled that in on the survey, anyone with Official forums access post this on there, i wander what people think about this

I'm fine with Agiles in a ground vehicle - I had enough room in my Humvee for my big ass plus my Kevlar armour plus my battle-rattle. I'm not fine, however, with aircraft pilots in anything but Standard - a combat aircraft cockpit doesn't have a fuckton of room for space. The fatter a bird, the bigger it shows in gunsites.
Yeah it's a game, but let's remember that they decided that Rexo was too bulky for most vehicles with an enclosed cockpit. Go one further, and make aircraft a strictly Standard experience. I think it's a fair compromise. And for all you surgile bailures out there who will undoubtedly be frothing at the mouth, take it in the ass like the rest of us. Does anyone have any facts or proof SOE is making PS2? Is this survey the only thing we're going off of?

Yeah, i was just thinking wheres Raijjin posting stuff.
He hasnt tweeted anything either so he might just be gone for the weekend...and monday. Tweakers.net a huge IT website in holland has also posted a news message about this. Stupid how one mail is suddenly making Planetside pop up everywhere

yeah there is not really much to go on is there? Just the survey.
Personally I think the first Planetside had enough advertising, just not enough development. think about it, all it took was this little survey and every game blog, news site, and FPS community lit up with the news that Planetside 2 could be in the works.

Yea and there is that.
I tried to get more info on this e-mail and the domain but they weren't giving me anything sadly. All I got was what John Smedley said "Planetside fans will be happy We have big things planned in the next 12 months. We're working on something new that's really cool."
