Looks good.

The build I did for you was quite awhile ago. When you are getting this now? I probably should do a one maybe.

It's been a while since we last chose you a GPU. What budget do you have left?

if we stick to the £430ish then £59.24 but i am prepared to go a bit over to get a similar graphics card to the one before (in price and performance)

The GPU market has changed since you last asked, so I was wondering how much the one from before cost.

That's basically what was recommended before (minus the overclock, but with a better cooler).

It certainly wasn't sub-£100, but ah well, that's what you were going to get, anyway.

Re: need help building a gaming rig

on overclockers it was definitely cheaper than the cpu which is £90 something. that is why i wanted to get it from there not amazon where it is over 100

The 6750 is significantly weaker than the 6850, but it'd be fine with the HP monitor, simply because it has such a low resolution. If you're looking at a 1900x1080 TV on the other hand, you really don't want to go any lower than the 6850.

Re: need help building a gaming rig

ok i will have to look around for one at a lower price. if i were to buy on in america would it still work or would it be incompatible some how?

or what about these?
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/asus-n...84345-pdt.html (this has vga so i could use the bad monitor if necessary)
or
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/pny-gt...93004-pdt.html

they are both gtx550 but have different prices and looks. i dont know if that makes a difference
