Anyone who actually thinks that A) WoW will allow major PvP and B) WoW will be free really needs to put the pipe down.

i know, i know, pvp drives people away, it's just.... well, you know. i suppose my point is moot since orc npc's, which act like, "real" orcs have a set mindpath and usually yell at the humans to get out of their land first, and the humans just gangbang without question.

anyways, maybe i'll like lineage 2. (open pvp and whatnot with orcs!)

And trust me. I've heard people who think this game will cure cancer and make them sexy (at the same time.) It's in the running for the most fan-hyped game of all time.

Just because you're cancerous and non-sexy doesn't make the rest of us so.

Besides, Half Life 2, Daikatana, and Doom III have all been hyped just as much, if not more, than this game.

Thirdly, I'm not planning to buy WoW, so don't jump on with all that "you're just a fanboy," crap.

But seriously. Not on these boards generally, but I have seen people who's hopes for this game are faaaaaaaaaaaar out of proportion with what Blizzard has said and shown. I commonly encounter people who swear WoW won't have a monthly fee. I'm afraid that WoW will tank under the sheer weight of expectation.
