Agreed I feel bad for the Maxis folks.

It is definitely fun if you can actually play it.

Apparently they have now disabled cheetah speed, for the time being, until the server issues are resolved. Apparently their servers couldn't handle the speed:/

Yeah but that'll never happen. I'll never give $ to EA again but I'll take a free copy of Crysis 3 or get the Mass Effect Trilogy. You could also prepurchase your way into the Defiance beta with it

So I bought it. The game is incredibly fun. Just 'finished' my second city after the first one was just... horrible..
Think I need to not pick the cool looking terrain with hills :P

And that's the greatest crime of all. It's a great and addictive game, from what I've heard, but people are unable to play it.

Re: Sim City

I was able to play for longer this weekend but had to move to another server. So the more servers they added are helping but you have to abandon your other cities on the high pop servers if you had any there. Would have been cool to have all cities available across all servers and just have the game choose one that isn't bogged down at the time. Guess that's a logistics issue though but IDK.

Re: Sim City

I started a private region named Vagabonds on North East 4, I think. I finally made a city that's not complete ass, though it may be heading that direction. It needs more residential, commercial, and industry but I have no more room! ><

Re: Sim City

They've fixed the connections issues mostly, may still be server ques though.

But they still haven't turned some features back on, cities don't fully interact with each other yet. No leaderboards, and still no full speed. So time goes so slow.

Re: Sim City

I sent my 2nd city 10k, using the tutorial thinger. It arrived no problem.
Then I tried to send 150k, and it never arrived but it did disappear from my first city!
