One of my most favorite underrated games was Jupiter: The Nexus Incident; it's reminiscent of Homeworld, which was epic.
Awesome space battles in 3D with customizeable ships of all classes using true Newtonian physics and firing arcs battling it out through an excellent story line. Last edited by Electrofreak; 2012-09-05 at 11:42 PM. |

Unreal. This game brought me from the mundane world of the office I worked in to an eerie, amazing 3D world for the first time!
Deus Ex: the first one. This brought me, again, into a whole new world, but one where alternative ways of thinking about government were the main point of the game, and the outstandingly realistic scenarios were just the delivery system. And, the ability to go two different routes, too, was cool. Unreal Tournament: playing against actual people. Mechwarrior series: Ultra-customizable mechs made for intelligence-heavy gameplay. Planetside: runined my life for nine years.
