Kick ass. First a surprise stream from Hugbies with a promise of more to come and tech test/beta being immanent, now it looks like more inside footage and info from TB and Hamma.

Has to be something because TB stated recently that he does not want to leave more because he can't make videos while he is gone. With him recently leaving for a good amount of days for E3 and MLG he would not do this unless it was big or being paid.

Comic-Con conveniently falls within those six days. My bet is that he's going to be either a) live-streaming from SOE's booth, much like he did at E3, or b) simply covering the games on show at Comic-Con.

He said he came mostly for Planetside2 in his latest mailbox. So chances are he's there to cover something big because 6 days without content on his channel is a lot, especially for such a workaholic.

I'm thinking a live stream from Comic Con and during Comic Con is when the external tech test will be going on so we will get to see many more people playing and across the whole continent.

Thursday/Friday=announce start of Tech test for the following Monday.
Invites start going out from that point,People start to download the client.
Tech test starts Monday.
Embargo over the day after the test starts,so TB releases video

That sound about right?

tech starts thursday, closed on monday if all goes well. Will not post source, because it's out there & I'm a dick.

I'm guessing this will be a full-server play test just for the key media, who I suspect will be playing against the internal testers, or perhaps those lucky enough to get into the tech test. This will give SOE a chance to properly show off PS2's scope -- something they haven't been able to do as of yet -- whilst also maintaining control over what footage gets released, and not having to worry about whether everyone's computers are up to scratch to play the game (which would make for bad press if they couldn't.)

Also, being at SOE gives the press interview opportunities and the chance to see some stuff not in the beta, like a new continent.
