How do you anticipate keeping the MAX and Heavy Assault classes balanced juxtaposed with one-another? That is, how do two classes whose only job is to shoot stuff with guns and who have very nearly the same limitations remain compelling in their own right? Will there be, for example, separate support abilities these classes possess to distinguish themselves?

Dear Higgs Boson,
We havent heard much about how cloakers are going to function in PS2, i was a massive fan of covert sabotage operations in the first game. Without a lattice system that shares benefits whats the point of covert operations to take down a generator? besides the immediate and obvious things such as not being able to buy vehicles and turrets not functioning etc.

Ask him to confirm that BFRs or anything remotely resembling them will never, ever make an appearance in PS2 so we can quickly put an end to any and all BFR and "Mech" threads that get spewed forth from the bowels of the mentally challenged.
OR How does the capture mechanic work (or how you intend for it to work) in relation to territory adjacency? |

Are there going to be any systems in place with regards to cert saturation where everybody is always getting closer and closer to unlocking everything. For example how common an advanced ability will eventually become (like the OS in ps1), or all base defenders able to quickly change to their high speced anti air characters they never normally use to deal with an enemy reaver specialised outfit, and the long term effects this could have on game balance.

Higby,
Can you go more in depth about the mission system? Our outfit will consist of heavily specialized squads in-game, thus we're very interested in hearing on how we'll be able to manage this in-game from a commander perspective. Are the missions Outfit specific, Platoon specific or Squad specific? (How are they managed and who manages them?) |

damn, it´s a second question, but will still put it here because nobody asked it before:
is offline training limited in a way that you have to log in from time to time, or is it possible to create a char, log in once, wait a year and come back to the game with loads of certpoints to spend?
