I still can't get on. I wonder if they started activating accounts from most recent registration and started going backwards, or if it's random or alphabetical or what.

Yeah it looks like they're going backwards. I still haven't been activated, and mine was registered at 2004. Seems like the other ones are around 2003-2004 too, though that could just be biased because this forum has a lot of older vets.

Friend who activated in 2003 was able to play this morning in the AM.

I think there's a better chance that they've just stopped.

In other news, the launchpad appears to be a CPU sink. The Awesomeium framework + the Launchpad take up like 15% of the CPU doing nothing.

The producer's letter says that all accounts will have the 30 day grant by 11:59 p.m. PST, June 27th- and ALL accounts will get it. I don't think they've arbitrarily stopped activating accounts.

My favorite bit is when it refreshes itself after 5 seconds.. deleting anything you may have entered into any field thus far.

Meanwhile.. launch day activation.. no 30 days. /patience /NS2

I'm starting to think that some accounts are going to get skipped entirely due to some technical error. Otherwise, it looks like most of the people who still don't have access were early subscribers and so it has something to do with the age of the account and the order they're activating in.

It has me a bit worried because obviously station accounts aren't 100% full proof for being kept intact. My station account in the past year seems to have suffered some sort of data loss. I started playing Planetside 1 in June of 2003 very soon after it launched. My Planetside 1 game pass info even says the original activation was in June 2003, however my payment history shows the earliest payment as Oct 2003 only a couple weeks before I bought Core Combat. So I'm missing several months from my records that I know I paid for. And I know I saw those missing months there from June to September in my payment history less than a year ago.

Keep in mind its most likely 11:59 PST, which means they have 2 more hours before their "deadline". Here's hoping they're not done yet.

Correct, but it's been what, 30-some-odd hours since they started? What are the odds that so many of us suddenly get activated in the next three hours?

That's sort of my feeling too, but since my account hasen't been activated yet, I'm hoping that it is indeed the case

I have the sinking sensation that I am going to be talking with SOE support tomorrow. With only one hour left till they said they would have everything active. Both of my accounts are still not active.
