Pay no attention to the Englishman, turbochargers lag. Superchargers are better. You need a good fuel system, good exhaust (does not need to be a fart pipe, just free-flowing), intake, then the supercharger.
Then we need to change that ugly red paint job. I'm thinking yellow Le Mans stripes on a blue body.

Yes. Turbochargers do not provide boost until you get high RPMs, meaning that they do not help getting off the line. IE: Worse for stoplight racers, but OK for track racers.

Sure you dont get the boost till higher rpm's, but it's SO much more fun being flung back into the seat when a high power turbo kicks in.
