Let me tell you about Fangio.

Back when racing took balls (the fifties and sixties), when it was a life-or-death thing, there was Juan Manuel Fangio. There were no 'driver aids', no 'traction control', no 'downforce', there was just you and the car, with a helmet as safety. This man won five world championships when driving was hard.

This German klutz racing for Ferrari (I remember Australia, '93, where he literally rammed another driver off the course to win the World Championship) wins five in this era. It's a lot easier now. So because he is the #1 driver of the team, Barrichello has literally been asked to pull over and let Schumacher take the lead so that he gets the points.

Besides, he's been winning like every race for fucking forever. Tell him he's too old to drive or something.

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

And yet you still like F1?

In all seriousness though, Schumacher is an outstanding driver. You can't downplay all his success just because he gets somewhat special treatment at times. He is still a damn good driver.

There are two kinds of F1 fans: Those who were watching during Australia '93 and those who weren't. HE RAMMED HILL OFF THE ROAD TO WIN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
