Well I think you did the right thing not giving up skating. If it's something you really like who the hell cares if you hurt yourself? You'll get a lot better, I'm sure of it. You're 14 and shouldn't be giving up things you love for a relationship with a girl who expects you to sacrifice your fun for her. What has she sacrificed for you, I might ask? I can almost guess that the answer is nothing.
Congrats on having the balls to stick up for your life. You'll probably meet some really fucking hot skater-chick ina few years and you'll be like "hfs I'm damn glad I didn't give up skating!" Let me know when that happens, lol.

Yeah, same thing with myself and motocross. If she cant respect what you love to do, then she doesnt really respect you. Similar thing happened to my government teacher, he decided to go into the marines to serve the country, his girlfriend didnt want him to and threatened their relationship, he said goodbye. Dont ask why he told our class that.
