I've been off "the hunt" as SDM put it since my last breakup. I definately miss having a woman to snuggle with when watchin a movie late at night, but it hasn't been too bad. The only question is if/when I'll ever find another girl I'm interested in. At the rate I'm going (either sitting in front of my computer all day or going to work) I'm not going to run into the chick of my dreams any time soon.

I'm 38, and have had this happen a few times. My expiriences have taught me that many times, when they break up, giving the reason "You're too nice", it's just an easy way to nicely (in their mind, since they can't read yours) end the relationship for whatever reason, good or bad. It's an "out".

At some point, I too just "gave up" and let life take me wherever it felt. After about 5 years of just hanging out and making as many friends as I could (of both sexes), I met my soul's mate (and she met hers). We're as happy as clams, and will get married someday soon.

The point is, don't worry about chix or having a girlfriend, etc. JUST GO ENJOY LIFE. Have fun! Do what YOU want to do! Be yourself! Eventually, you'll find your mate, likely doing the same things you're doing and being herself too.

Also, tis FAR better to find someone you like, likes you, and has similar interests, but maybe isn't a model or have a perfect body, than to be miserable mentally and emotionally, and be with somebody that is a perfect 10 for looks and/or body.
