The textures do look great, but I have to admit I miss how the PS1 Vanu armor would shimmer different shades of purple as light passed over it. That was a totally badass effect - my main use of 3rd person view was to admire my own armor.

I do like the rainbow reflection on that beamer screenshot. Fabulous !

FC had it right all along.


I like the chest design of medium armor. The helmet will need a bit getting used to but it's not hugely different than in PS1. The VS Rexo helmet has always been the best anyways.

Perhaps i'm the only one, but i don't like the VS helmets. Need to tweak VS and NC helmets imo.

These shots only show one level of character customization, without this tint, the armor would be mostly grey

I was really concerned, since I loved PS1's VS Agile helmets (part of why I originally picked VS in the first place).

I love the new designs though. Like a more subtle and detailed version of the PS1 design.

As long as I can customize my visor to be orange in the shiny spots, I am set. Thank you for your work TRay and the rest of the art department. I now have no more worries about this game.

i might run without a helmet though, will that mean i take more headshot damage then?
