ADADA wont be exploting planetsides 2 netcode to induce warp, there willbe no warp, it will still require aim though....better not have straifing to reduce QQ then...

AADADADADADAD is an entirely different issue than bunny hopping.

Bunny hopping just looks a bit silly. If you can't hit them, thats your fault.

ADADADAD exploits the sub optimal game code to induce warping so even if your aim is perfect you don't hit them.

Bunny hopping is fine. If you are stupid enough to do so, you should be limited by your 100 stamina. It worked very well in PS1, it let you jump while fighting if you so chose, and served as an energy pool for implants. You actually had to manage it effectively, and that made it fun. PS1's system was pretty much spot on.

No reason to have stamina, there is other ways to solve the bunny hopping "problem". This fun people are talking about from stamina.. I don't find watching a bar fun. Maybe it's just me.

Having to manage between jumping and controlling the drain from your implants is fun because it requires thinking. Having everything infinite is absolutely boring.

possibly, warping wont be an issue in PS2 though, dont really get why people are still raging about it. everybody had to deal with it in PS1 anyway so... *shrugs*

I was just commenting on people who were comparing the two phenomenon. ADAD broke the game and induced warping. Bunny hopping just annoys certain people.

Yeah, I'm one of those certain people. It has never presented a problem for me, even in the few oldschool games where it gave an advantage, I just don't like seeing that shit. Pet peeve. Not saying it should be removed on my whim, I'm just happy when it is prevented.

I'm not really worried about it in Planetside 2 per say. Bunny hopping isn't really a 2011 phenomenon.

you've started a PETITION to CHANGE GAME MECHANICS on a game that NO ONE HAS PLAYED BEFORE, that ISN'T EVEN IN BETA based on the POSSIBILITY of a game mechanic existing that you don't care for. DESPITE the fact that the CREATIVE DIRECTOR already said that it WON'T BE A PROBLEM.
