The reason it's less accurate is simply a design choice. They don't want the machine gun to be a better Assault rifle than the Assault rifle.
I, personally, like it. Devs, you're making it hard to pick my side, when you make the TR stuff look decent.

Look at the bore size
![]() ![]() They need to add some default muzzlebreak kind of thing or make the bore size smaller cos it looks absolutely ridicilous atm ![]() But yea, seriously speaking what Rbstr said. Balance > Realism. I, too, am a sucker for weapons and weapon mechanisms IRL (been competing for years as well as own several guns of my own), but I try not to bring in the RL stuff too hard into games, cos RL does not know these "balance" and "overpowered" thing at all. The point of RL weapons is usually to kill, not to have a fair fight ![]()
