In PS1 you couldn't ever choose which AMS to respawn at. You could only respawn at the closest one.
I've no idea if this was by design or not, but can we make sure that it is possible to choose which one you want to respawn at in PS2 please.

You can swim in PS2, you won't sink, that's been confirmed (a Dev said it in an interview)

Take out that question regarding the AMS Choosing, it was by design to stop every single base having an AMS in it and therefore any troop could just deconstruct to anywhere within seconds. That would be OP.

My question would be:

What have you got in place to minimize lag/warping? Is it a simple case of upgraded hardware from PS1, or do you have systems in place that filter lag/warp out?

PS1 was 8 years ago at least, lag has been dealt with by not being 8 years in the past

But, the question ties up with the big "what prevents Cheaters/Teamkillers to just do their crap on a new account, after they got banned/grief locked", and i will just add that (later, no time atm :> )

well yea but unless there's something that effects your who account, if everything is just for each char then it makes no difference.

For example TF2's cash shop you get an upgraded account with any purchase and most items are just for one class, if you wanted you could have multiple accounts for each class with no drawback, i mean it doesn't make sense in TF2 but it would in PS2.

since you are going the semi BF style gameplay way, would you be able to swap out the Kit/class you have on for your dead friends kit/class if he died next to you?

  • Can an empire capture large facilities in sections, or is it just the "one cc, all or nothing" gameplay like PS1? If they can capture a section, and they grab one that has a spawn point in it, can they now spawn at that spawn point?
  • Will Ground Vehicles get a 3rd person view (without crosshairs of course)?
  • Will vehicles have some sort of trunk that we can store infantry equipment/weapons in?
  • Can we get an option to use PS1's circumflexing compass rose on the minimap instead of the compass bar we've seen?
  • How potent is the Damage degradation on VS weapons compared to PS1? Roughly when does it start and how steep does it degrade?
  • Since the Beamer has "self-charging" cells, does this mean it will never run out of ammo?
  • Are the VS going to get some sort of "unified ammo" for their weapons like in PS1?
  • What kind of "versatility" traits/advantages are VS weapons going to get?
  • Can we pick up ammo off of fallen corpses? what kind of "Drops" will there be?
  • Will troops wearing Rexo-equivalent armour be able to carry 2 rifle-sized weapons (like MA/AV or HA/MA, but not HA/AV)?
  • What is the VS MAX special ability that's replacing JumpJets?
  • Will Lightnings have a similar cannon/LMG dual-weapon turret to what they had in PS1?
  • With the removal of AP ammo, is MAX armour being treated more like extra-heavy infantry armour now instead of the infantry/Vehicle bybrid it was in PS1 (i.e. - do we still need AV to kill MAXes)?
  • How fast can MAXes move during combat? Will they still have a run mode for traveling as well?

    Yes, no crosshairs
