That sadly doesn't hold up to the concept art at all. I'm quite a bit dissapointed to be honest. The armor pieces are not connected, the neck is exposed and so are many areas between armor plates. Therefore the flannel shirt and khaki pants shine through everywhere which gives it a (very) bad overall look. Some armor areas are also way to flat (the back of the boots for example, which looks awfull). I'm also not too fond of the helm designs, but that's the least problem really.

I'm sorry I have to keep pointing out so many negative things with the NC classes, but these things, which might be minor or no problems at all for others, really overshadow all the positive aspects for me.

the gaps on the joints make sense.
if you don´t understand why, go and buy a stormtrooper armor and try to wear it for a little while.
if you don´t have large gaps, you will look like a junkie with all bloody and blue/purple skin where the armorparts come together.

and you could not walk up stairs or use your full arm movement.

Keep in mind that all of these models will appear in a different light when you see them ingame, brandishing weapons and on the move. If something looks ugly up close, well, stop staring at it and get back into the fight!!

Funny enough medival armour from the 15-16 century was very well capable of protecting everything except the inner side of joints. Yet 1000 years in the future that knowledge is lost apparently.

Now that partially explains why you have a grey scouttrooper in your sig.

On point though - the armor looks great lore-wise, if you take a close look you'll even see that the guy is wearing a check-textured shirt.

2nd point: In my opinion, all the negative emotions are dictated by the strong contrast of the armor and the underwear. It looks more eye friendly this way, doesn't it?

still, that disproportionated head... plus, this armor looks way too slim comparing to TR one..are they all Heavy assault?

show me a medival armour that didn´t limit the movement of the knight...
yes, there are ways to cover the knees for instance, but then this thing would be far too bulky. the max has to look more armoured. and keep in mind this may be the vanilla version and people may be able to cover up some more gaps with customizations.

There's nothing that anyone could say, which would make me like this armor the way it is now.
