That sadly doesn't hold up to the concept art at all. I'm quite a bit dissapointed to be honest. The armor pieces are not connected, the neck is exposed and so are many areas between armor plates. Therefore the flannel shirt and khaki pants shine through everywhere which gives it a (very) bad overall look. Some armor areas are also way to flat (the back of the boots for example, which looks awfull). I'm also not too fond of the helm designs, but that's the least problem really.
I'm sorry I have to keep pointing out so many negative things with the NC classes, but these things, which might be minor or no problems at all for others, really overshadow all the positive aspects for me. Last edited by BlazingSun; 2012-04-04 at 06:43 PM. |

the gaps on the joints make sense.
if you don´t understand why, go and buy a stormtrooper armor and try to wear it for a little while. if you don´t have large gaps, you will look like a junkie with all bloody and blue/purple skin where the armorparts come together. and you could not walk up stairs or use your full arm movement.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On point though - the armor looks great lore-wise, if you take a close look you'll even see that the guy is wearing a check-textured shirt. 2nd point: In my opinion, all the negative emotions are dictated by the strong contrast of the armor and the underwear. It looks more eye friendly this way, doesn't it? |

yes, there are ways to cover the knees for instance, but then this thing would be far too bulky. the max has to look more armoured. and keep in mind this may be the vanilla version and people may be able to cover up some more gaps with customizations.

There's nothing that anyone could say, which would make me like this armor the way it is now. Last edited by BlazingSun; 2012-04-04 at 07:07 PM. |
