technical test is to make sure they have video card drivers for this game to cover wide range of computers. then they will begin closed beta.
its just sad that this was supposed to be done weeks ago and closed beta has taken a back seat until it gets finished. perhaps if SOE wasn't so busy posting crap on twitter, they could have been more productive over the last month. just saying... why does each employee get a twitter account? shouldnt they just have one ps2 twitter account and everyone else should get back to work. |

but... SOE is using these individual accounts to promote the game. they are using them to hand out beta keys and "answer questions". that doesn't sound like a situation where a company has its hands tied in how their employees use their personal twitter accounts. its a collaboration. its encouraged. its annoying. |

they spend more time than that. maybe 30 seconds to post something, but dozens of posts a day? and what are they responding to? surely they read hundreds of texts. its all bs. its not productive to allow this in a work environment. but they allow it, all in the name of marketing. these days everything must be promoted through social media.

not really. i just dislike social media. long before the corporate world jumped on the bandwagon and started milking it for likes and follows. now social media is even more of a joke because of this ridiculous practice.
i mean i dislike TV as well because of the 30% commercials. who doesn't? so we moved to the internet to watch tv. hulu anyone? hulu used to have very few commercial interruptions, very short. but then what happened? it got too popular (just like facebook) the advertisers got wise and followed us to the internet. now hulu is also at the 30% commercials. so? now i torrent my tv shows. and no, that doesn't make me a pirate because i want to watch my shows w/o commercial interruption. i still pay for cable tv, and i never buy crap they advertise on tv anyway, never have. never will... |
