Cross faction chat?

I would like to have cross-faction chat. I want to talk to enemy snipers after we have duels like in PS1.

Cross faction chat has single handedly (ok maybe not single handedly but close to) kept a community of PS1 players talking for over 9 years.....because you got to chat with your enemies and build rivalries....

Best example, I stopped playing for 6-7 years and came back about 2 months ago, and the first tell I got welcoming me back in the game was from a TR, second was from another TR, and third was from an NC player.....

No way will this type of community have kept going for so long if it wasn't for cross faction chatter, and you can always /ignore those that you deem offensive. People that have not been playing PS1 will never understand this, it's not a hindrance, and no, it's not a green light for trash talking either.

I feel we will lose a great deal of what made Planetside's community so great if this was implemented to cater for the "new blood" that's coming in.

If this were to go, it will be sorely missed......

Cross faction chat is fine, I'd be very sad to see it leave. Only in the /tell or /whisper format though, like in PS1.
