The curiosity getting to Mount Sharp nearby and estimating how long it will take is similar to going on a long road trip with you family and making stops along the way to see the sights, except with the Curiosity, along its way you have 400 scientist wanting to stop and look at every single minute detail. Close to what he (not sure of his name) said in the press interview, but it made me laugh.
