Leaning towards Vanu although I'd really love to see some more gameplay. Of course our luck I don't think anyone got a chance to record Higby stream last night..and I fell asleep.

I like the TR soundtrack. NC is "OK" and Vanu seems a little to techno/new age for me. It'll probably get turned off anyway.

I would say TR is best for if VS seems too technoish to you. They're modern without looking like they stepped out of the 80's (which is the impression NC gives me, no offense).

Haven't picked a faction yet, i don't really know the pros and cons to each one so i might have to do a bit of research before making my choice. But if i was joining a faction based on looks(stupid i know) then it would probably be TR.

I will choose the less popular faction. I dont like it when servers are unbalanced.

Too bad more people didn't think like this. Which is why I'll likely end up being Vanu. No fun just running over people, not to mention when on less faction = more shit to kill.

It will probably take a couple weeks or so until factions balance out while people are trying out different factions.

Exactly, and its so much more rewarding when you actually win a battle or war when you knew you were outnumbered. Ive always been the underdog or with the underdogs, hate to be with the overpowered team.

I fear that 60 % of all players will choose space fasc... Terran Republic. Hopefully it will get more even as time goes by, but I wonder what the developers will do to encourage people to spread out more even. XP boons for very outnumbered factions might be an idea.

I don't have any experience personally with 3 faction MMOs, but I have heard the dynamic of them will cause any faction population imbalances to kinda smooth out in all but the worst cases.

I wonder what that might be, increased vehicles purchasable points and decreased cooldown maybe?

There might be something like that. I remember in one of the videos I believe Higby was creating a character. If you look at the 3 factions at the bottom it mentions something about XP boost or boost in general to that faction although all of them were blank.

I'm sure they'll have something like that to be honest. If not..they really should.
