If they want to balance them, I think they'd need to make MBTs multi-crew and increase their armour. Otherwise they'll just nerf these launchers and make them useless, I can guarantee

Afaik you need to log in every day. I got a 50% cert boost and I get 18 certs a day. If I haven't logged in in 5 days, I still only gained 18 certs. So you do need to log in every day to get those certs.

They are still on the archived February section. I noticed marches map revamp has been completed before any of February ones. So can we get a devs word on how the other February items are coming along?

Improved Item Preview: 80% complete
Increase the number of vehicle cosmetic slots: 90% complete
Daily Medals/Achievements: Cancelled

I would really like to see Improved Item Preview, Community Grief Reporting & Loadout Screen Revamp completed soon as they are a bit more important then the others.

Overall a really good set of upcoming updates, i hope they get the model of the Lancer right + the distinctive cherchowww firing sound.

The prowler nerf is much need, ive lost count of the number of guys ive seen parked on ridges or hiding behind boulders and lobbing HEAT/HE rounds in lockdown mode from a mile away, farming infantry poping out of outpost spawns, only to undeploy and run a mile when they actually see another tank try to engage them, god forbid they should actually have to engage and fulfill their anti-armour role (AP spec Prowlers officially the rarest vehicle in the game /sarcasm off).

must be terrible to have to put up with it for a week or so.... could you imagine having to put up with it for months like we did the fagrider




Well that aside, some more great up coming changes in bound looks like. I'm going to be worried over NC once again having camera guided missile launchers and the VS getting sniper rifle version where once again the TR will have to put up with with tracking missiles that are affected by speed, lag, terrain and every other gameplay issue that's unintentionally designed to mess up, if this is case then I at least want the striker to be usable and lock on against enemy MAX's to balance it out fairly.

The Prowler has always had both its rounds deal 1000 splash dmg, at least as far back as I can remember. The Prowler has been the best MBT versus infantry since time immemorial. So, while I had no love for the Magmower/goat, they do have us on this one.

Havent you heard? Its being renamed to Fagrider due to overwhelming support for the name change. Its in the July roadmap have a look.

Nope, rumble seat is innate on the flash, no unlock required, no item selection required. All flashes are just 2-seaters now!
Also regarding Flash:

I got a knife kill off the back of the damn thing. C4 on it is pretty funny!

The prowler never OSOK with splash damage. Only direct, with possible Exception of HE, that all empires have.

Two shots to kill infantry will now make the skill level required disproportionate to other MBT's. Who's shots have always had other advantages.

Not on splash. The thing that's being changed.

This to me, is another change made so they do not need to revise the base designs.

Both HE and HEAT rounds deal the same indirect damage, 1000, and as uncerted infantry, except for the MAX and infiltrator, have 500/500 health/shields, they could. Unless I am mistaken about the health and shields.
I wasn't commentating on the possibility to one-shot kill infantry with the Prowler as I don't see that being as important as both of its round dealing the same indirect damage as the Vanguard and Magrider. Ever since I found out that, that was the case I have been puzzled as to why the damage wasn't cut in half like the direct damage.

I don't really see why it would. 1000 indirect damage is often overkill and being able to fire two rounds that each deal 1000 was just even more overkill. The Prowler still has an advantage when it comes to being able to spread the splash damage over a larger area more quickly.
I guess we'll see if I'm right in my assesment that this won't really affect the Prowler's anti-infantry capabilities, except for bringing it in line with the rest.

I don't think it will have a net change. I am just disappointed that users do not take the other advantages and disadvantages into consideration.

We seem to be on a slow march to remove the Faction differences.

Not an exact date nor a percentage of completion but something to refer to when GU05 comes and goes.
