I was a BR15 VS and a BR16 TR during beta. NC is what I'm playing now and I plan on getting to BR20 with it. I've said it before and I've said it again. Numbers and level of coordination have far more to do with why you are getting your butt kicked than weapon specs. I've been on both sides of the butt-kicking fence and nothing I've seen in the different empires has changed this opinion.

sometimes the best defense from continent locks is individual offense. I used to use infil/spec assault/hacking combo to go into backline bases and destroy respawn tubes>terminals>generator>wall turrets. Drops a base 90% ntu over 30min, takes 5-10min to do when u work it out right. Completely destroys long offensive of other side and even after two months in beta it was sparsely used tactic. With two people doing this it takes under 5min per base, plenty of time b4 they can react. Really does slow down big offensives alot, but people deem this as boring so i guess they never do it.

and yah, the guy said it right, TR does have CQB in base superiority. Why i love hunting them down in the open with vanu. Best fun was like 8am in morning one day on searhus, i ran over the same squad of TR with mag about 4-5 times each. I used the magrider as static defense between their respawn points shelling them from far away and pinning them in their tower for bit too haha. Nothing like driving your mag and gunning your mag and still easily killing people. I would say the funnest time i had in beta was driving my magrider along a mountain ridge full of friendly snipers, and parking it next to them and just shelling poor basserds in a base

Key when fighting TR is to rain holy hell on them outside their bases to really frustrate them. That= phoenix/lancers for max, vanguard/magrider for infantry/vehicles, vanu max, and reavers. Make those MAX armor piss their pants when they look outside. Thats where i took satisfaction, running every gd one of them over. When someone in my outfit would gun, i would easily get 60+kill runs in one mag. Best run was like 95kills, 6prowlers, ~15 reavers, rest was infantry over hour and 20min.

Top tactics i wish to see more of: NTU guerrilla warfare, static defense use of vehicles (tanks especially), use of the reavers cannons! The cannons kick so much ass against vehicles but so many newb pilots fly low towards my magrider and my gunner chews em up. I tore up many tanks including magriders with cannons and high altitude. Dump ~150rounds into them, and then stop for about 3min. They will hide to repair, then rocket them to death. You should be at an elevation/angle where they cant see you.
