I'm very interested in joining BWC, and I have read your SOP and some of the TRFM--more specifically I'm curious as to how much the training is going to change for PS2 considering that it's an entirely different beast of a game in every way possible.

The only real "training" we have is largely orientation on how BWC operates so that recruits don't step on their dicks the first time they deploy with BWC. This is mainly because of the incredibly diverse backgrounds to be found in online gamers. You never know who you're going to get.

And not to go off on a ranty tangent, but... the TRFM is 99% irrelevant and was a novel project we did waaaay back in 2003 before big game-changers like lattices and whatnot. We have never really followed it. We keep it around as a nod to our roots. It's kinda like a sixth grade report card - "hey look at this, remember that homeroom teacher?" There were also some outlines for skill badges, which we came up with as fun little diversions for people who wanted to earn pretty decorations.

But mostly the TRFM is there to discourage people from joining us. People who think "Oh, you can't have tactics in this game! Who does shit by the book? RAWR I'M ELITE, I DON'T NEED YOUR BOOK-LEARNIN'!" Those are the kind of pricks we don't want, so the TRFM is another brick in the wall designed to keep them out. It is a carefully crafted facade, one that has worked well for us. I laugh every time I see some jackass make fun of us for having it, like we actually use it. THAT'S THE JOKE.

Having just joined less than a week ago I can tell you that these are some of the finest people I've ever encountered. Quick to respond to any questions you might have and very clear on what's expected of you as well as who you can go to for help. The first day I joined I instantly knew it was a group I wanted to stay with for the long run. Hell there are members that have been with this outfit for over 8 years, you'd have a hard time finding that kind of heritage and dedication anywhere else.

Glad to see you guys are making a return from PS1, although I will be playing NC this time around and probably not on the same server, I hope we can get some good outfit-sized battles going again!

You can tell this outfit cares, there is fast response on all the recruitment applications on their forums and very specific directions of what to do. I am very much looking forward being a part of this outfit!
