Since you've been playing since 2005 which is highly unlikely; then you would know the importance of keeping a outfit together - One reason is that it keeps moronic frat boys interested in "fragging" out of a well organized team.

I joined Delta Triad in 2005 when I was on the verge of quitting and have had a paid sub ever since. I even bought a second account. The community I joined KEPT my interest in the game far above the game itself.

If you are not happy with what is going on you should politely raise your concerns. Face Book is SOE’s new medium of choice and is being heavily advertised to new customers, it is the place to be heard. Just keep it clean non inflammatory and to the point. You can always retract a statement should something change.

Tbh we all knew SOE would find a way to fuck Planetside up somewhere.

I don't get why MMOs are region locked, SWTOR hasn't done it and it is great for the game. If I'm playing in the early hours of the morning I just roll my US toon so I can group up still. In Planetside 2 I'll have to wait till the next day to get into a big battle.

I wouldn't play an FPS in any other region than my own anyway, so that's not really my concern. My concern is this:

- What will this mean for beta testing? Will ProSieb run European beta test? Will we now see the usual BS of European beta starting months or even a year after US beta, where we get to test 2 weeks just to not feel left out before the game releases? Will ProSieb have past-player date and take in account those EU players who are PS veterans in selecting Beta Testers? (As SOE is doing)

- Will ProSieb get to run RMT store in EU regions?

- Will ProSieb get to determine pricing in EU regions?

- What will this mean for the release of the game? Will US players be playing PS2 months before the EU?

- What will this mean for anti-hacker services? Will ProSieb be responsible for ensuring hackers are kept to a minimum?

Don't be fooled, region lock isn't the biggest problem here, so SOE can listen all they want, to me the problem is simple: we should NOT play Planetside 2 as long as the deal between SOE and Pro7 stays like it is now.

ProSieben is an obscure and amateurish MMO-publisher.
Most of you probably never heard of those guys before, and SOE is expecting you to hand your account and credit card details to that german company. Are you really careless enough to do so?

First time I heard about that company was 6 weeks ago. And now, after some time looking for informations about them, anyone can find out that those guys are not serious, and are terrible in game support.

Pro7 doesn't respect its customers, nor does it respect its games.

They screwed one of their games (S4 League) balance for the sake of earning more money out of the cash-shop, effectively turning that Free-2-Play game into a Pay-2-Win. http://mmohuts.com/editorials/alapla...-arena-shooter

I've read on forums that they've had account hacking problems before, and didn't solved the issue as fast and seriously as they should have (no sources, sorry).

They're also slow at updating games (meaning they push the updates way after the original game server had it), when they don't simply cut the update out (same link as the S4 League one).

Like someone said on PSU forums, Planetside 2 isn't ProSieben baby. It's their new cash cow, and nothing else.

As long as SOE doesn't tell us this CAN'T happen (not that it won't, but that it really can't, due to the terms of their contract with Pro7), we should pass on that game.

We are not second tier players.

We stopped that payment method long time ago as it was archaic and better methods occured.

Late updates: propably have to deal with that because of localisation stuff now.
Hacking: ask sony about that. ;-)
Cash shop: that one worrys me the most. Can only hope here.

But it's still in their Terms of agreement stuff.

So, technically, they could.
And knowing how I've had long periods of inactivity in PS1 before, that's still a problem.

A friend of mine also thought that ACTA and dealing with it on a country by country basis as another possible reason why SOE wants nothing to do with EU over the next few coming years or at least until the dust settles from it.

I really hope there is a way around this cause running around with my outfit made PS alot of fun. Seems like now im stuck with running with the zerg and having to make new friends. I chose my outfit because i like the way it was run, not because I just wanted to be part of a group. I tried out 3 other outfits before i found one I liked. Grrr this shit is pissing me off but its cool, like i said I still got tera online, and Diablo 3 to fall back on other MMO will come.
