The only thing I'm gonna kinda miss is the faction-agnostic jump pads at the amp stations. Most of my claymore kills were from mining those. On the other hand, now I may have fewer engies attaching C4 to my AA turret while defending. Partial AA damage bonus will be VERY nice. I'm a decent gunner, but a decent pilot will almost always be able to break off before death. This will give an incentive to defend a little I hope.
Most fun I ever had in PS2 was on top of a battlement in a flak turret swatting away a horde of NC libs, reavers and Vanu scythes with a MAX, an engie, and infiltrators keeping me repaired and infiltrator hackers/LA a ways away from me. Must have substantially hit over 75 aircraft, but with only about 6 kills it was a loss XP-wise. Now it wouldn't have been. |

Some numbers from the client data...
Vulcan drop-off damage down from 140 to 120, never actually found where the drop-off range values are listed so I don't have that. Prowler AP damage up from 1000 to 1200 per round, cycle time of .5s and reload time of 2.5s unchanged. Projectile speed up from 225m/s to 250m/s. Prowler AP damage up from 875 to 1100 per round, cycle time of .5s and reload time of 2.5s unchanged. Projectile speed up from 200m/s to 225m/s Vanguard AP projectile speed up from 225m/s to 275m/s. HEAT up from 200m/s to 250m/s. Enforcer projectile speed up from 200m/s to 300m/s, acceleration reduced from .1s to 0s(means it goes 300m/s straight out of the tube), max speed value changed from 125m/s to 0(this is what was topping it from going it's full speed before, and 0 means to ignore this field), gravity up from 0 to 3.5m/s/s(all tank rounds gravity is 4m/s/s). Halberd projectile speed up from 150m/s to 275m/s, gravity down from 4m/s/s to 3m/s/s. TR/NC rotary projectile speed down from 750m/s to 650m/s, VS rotary down from 700m/s to 550m/s The SMGs all list as have 143 damage except 1 at 167 and another at 125...out of 12. The cycle rate is all listed at 67 except 1 listed at 80 and another listed at 92(same one that has 167dmg). The reload times range from 1.75s to 2.32s. They show as having pretty much the same to/from iron sight times as everything else. Honestly they look exactly like the fast firing carbines on paper. |

If my brain has calculated the timezones and chuff. The patch should be ready 4pm GMT. It wasn't and i write this at 5 minutes to 6 GMT and there is no new updates on twitter and the ps2 forums are still down.
I guess it will be ready when its ready. No news is good news and all that jazz. Just chomping at the bit wanting this to drop so much... |

My patch is done but servers are locked. I like all the improvements, except what happened to OPTIMIZATION? My FPS will still be too low! I guess we still shouldn't defend a territory cause there's no cert gain, unless you intend on taking the whole continent for a resource cost reduction
