the flamethrower in ps1 did actually kill?
i cannot remember to have killed anything with it except when spamming the fireballs in a towerfight. and the balls ate up 100 fuel per shot. never killed anything with the flame. didn´t seem to do any damage at all. maybe it was a lag problem because i always had high pings. hope this time BBQ gun will be delicious

I like #1. Maybe it does need an angled canister, but the rest of it looks very functional and minimalistic, like it works despite being hastily produced by the lowest bidder.
#4 would be my 2nd pick. In PS1, they were great for tower assaults against NC. At point-blank, the Dragon has a slightly better TTK than a Jackhammer. They also did OK if you were going to suicide rush the main stairwell of an interfarm. You could set an entire crowd on fire, many of whom had already been weakened by grenade spam. I like the look of #1, as it looks like a properly NC slapdash mixture of an assault rifle frame with some mining equipment stuck on the front. I do think it would look better if it was a little shorter and had #2's angled fuel tank though.
