Back on topic, look at it from the parent's point of view. Perhaps they went through a nightmare circumstance involving a boyfriend or maybe think she's just too young. I would talk it over with them at least. Don't call them
(Certain German Political Party Name has been bowdlerized to protect any possible **** or other victims of the Holocaust) they're just trying to protect her.

for parents to be that over-protective, is definately not a good thing. don't go to them alone, bring along your parents...i mean i'm very over-protective of my sisters (who are both older then me, i'm the youngest), but i give them there space....i don't not let them go on dates, i just tell them they would and up a cripple for life if they ever fucked with my sisters...if anything, my kind of over-protectiveness is better...but yeah if you feel that strongly about her, get your parents involved. they would definately be a strong asset.
