Wow, so after watching the Discovery doc When We Left Earth a couple days ago, and now discovering this, I have officially put down Mass Effect and Total War.

This is surreal.

Landed on the moon last night and returned home for the first time successfully. Used mechjeb a little bit to help me understand it more - it was a blast!

See above for mods and also look on the ksp forums. There's tons of stuff on there which you can use to make planes or moon buggies.
