Cheers m8, Its looking ok, this was just a mock up, so I could make a better job of it with a little bit more time. Also yea cant wait for PS2, its gona be class! But the longer it is the more problem ironing I can do

Come on folks, tomorrow night lets try and get a few viewers and a few streamers all in the same channel, and we will have some fun.

What time is best for the streamers?

Edit* Oh and I'm still not sure how the voice coms will work yet, maybe SkyPE?

What kinda of Voice comms you mean?

By default I think pretty much everyone will automatically be streaming whatever VoiP they are using. Or are you talking about something like the streamers being on VoiP together?

Thats what I mean m8, we could all do with being on the same voice chat for testing, then we can have a good go at seeing if this is a good idea or not?

We could get up to all sort of crazy stuff with this, we just need to make it entertaining. Also Core i do expect you to be taking part

I actually streamed a little tonight to some people who hadn't seen planetside before. Just on a personal channel but, I was able to with no lag on my end nor on the streams end. So I guess I should settup a channel and get it all fixed up for gaming & whatnot. Maybe buy a webcam? I know that's something a lot of casters have in the corner or elsewhere.

I tested my own streaming capabilities, mainly to help test out PS247, not so much to actually contribute as the quality is still shit. I got some 0,7mbit upload

In that video: 40 mins of me getting a single kill and dying a lot

The last 10 mins you can hear some good sleaze rock!

Already figured out how to get the stream "full screen"/rid of the black borders, but it didnt make it into that video.

i've read the thread. forgive me for asking but, what's the point of this and why is this in planetside 2 discussion apart from the fact that it is the busiest board?

It's here cos this is mainly planned for PS2. Any streaming done now is really just preparations and testing and tweaking for PS2.

i still think this thread belongs on teamstarzz or whatever .net instead of here. streaming live video isn't that difficult and has little to nothing to do with the majority of content in this board.
