They already said that sea combat will not be in for launch, but at a later date maybe.

Means these infos are actually just wrong. Making me believe that the entire preoder stuff has nothing to do with sony. Someone call Smed already!

I hate to be a party pooper.

But this really doesn't matter. Things are available for pre-order damn near as soon as they're announced these days, regardless of release date.

Actually I am looking at the press release that PSU got from Fan Faire.

Its the exact same one. idk how we missed it before. Or maybe i was just too excited and passed it by

Did they state whether or not that this will be a digital download? Or do we preorder a box with a set of disks? Either way, it's seems a little stupid to preorder it unless there's some sort of guaranteed early download thing like most games have (download the game early before it unlocks so you can play right away once they open it up) or higher priority access to the beta.

I think I might just preorder it because they don't charge you until the game ships so it's more of like a precaution at this point.

I was going to jump on you for being Captain Buzzkill, but you do make a good point.

It is a little curious that SOE wouldn't make some sort of announcement that you can pre-order the game. Maybe Amazon and Gamestop are jumping the gun a bit using information we have up to this point.....but it's still exciting.
