Guinness/Murphys (never in a bottle or can!)
Sam Adams triple Bock
and good ol Boston lager, black lager, brown Ale, ok so mostly all of them
Smithwicks in a pinch
Boddingtons ale
And one I cant find anywhere except at beer festivals, habenero beer. Yeah, thats right. Not sure who makes it tho.

Also sick of the west coasts obsession with ipa's! But to each their own.

To actually get drunk I'll agree with the people who said cheap beer works. But I wouldn't necessarily choose cheap beer on purpose to get drunk. If I've got a lot to drop I'll get good beer. If I'm scraping together funds I'll get PBR or Oldstyle thats about how it goes.

Just had a night out in Coventry (England yeh, its is the middle of nowhere and a shit town but where else you going to go if your at warwick uni, student SU is crap) and my usual drinking pattern is stella artois for pre-pre drinks. Absinthe (70%) and stella for pre drinks, and then when i get to a club, I ashamed to say its VK orange all the way, dunno if u have that in America but if you don't, just imagine the girliest drink possible and that's what i drink when i get to a club, I'm usually off my face from the several shots of absinthe by that point anyway. But hey, VK orange is delicious so whatever

Wow... me and Coreldan seem to certainly be the minority... I am also 22 and personally hate beer. Just never liked the taste... alcohol isn't really my thing

I stick to water and soda.

I used to hate beer so much, to the point where I could barely get them down without feeling sick. So I kept drinking anyway. And now I can drink beer like water and love the stuff its the nectar of god.

Best beer I've ever had is the Fat Scotsman Ale from Adirondack Brewery in Lake George, NY. If anyone is ever in the Lake George area, you have to stop there. Best microbrew in NY.
