Now hold on one minute. Who cares about bloom/min? Why did you make up that stat? What we care about is bloom/damage or really bloom/death.

NC6 Gauss SAW: (0.07 bloom/shot) * (5 shots / death) = 0.35 bloom/death

Orion & Carv: (0.05 bloom/shot) * (7 shots / death) = 0.35 bloom/death

Balanced.

Funny I find my self holding shift if i'm using a 6x scope already. Though then I realize that is dumb of me to use and grab a better gun and a reflex.

Not really happy about the longer breach hold, i'd rather see the time between shortened just a hair. Right now I can shoot a RAMS.50, chamber a new round, zoom in, pick a target... and still can't hold my breath again. MUCH rather have that reduced a touch than lengthen the breath hold.

Uh, huge weapon bugs in the play test server.

NC infantry weapons have no recoil whatsoever

There's still cone of fire and it gets bigger the longer you shoot but the weapons simply don't jiggger any direction when you shoot

GU08 will be out this week unless something huge comes up. PA shotguns are getting a slightly longer refire delay w/ GU08.

@topic: I've used uncerted Gauss Saw for my HA for 4 months. I only added foregrips recently because of the untenably poor hit registration since about GU06.

Ironsight ftw! So, nerf away the attachments. Us NC are used to it . Whatever lingering faction balancing issues will be resolved by MLG tournaments.

Also I have to test it some more. Yesterday anyone noticed, there are no ADAD macro spammers, laggers and desynch exploiters? Probably a fluke, but I suspect a banwave .

As in like that bug with the M60 in BF3 where sometimes when firing it acts like a laser gun?

It was called a bipod. Get a place to use one and it becomes a rock that never moves.

Or that is how they worked when I last played.

I'm still using a stock Orion+S1 in my 1st slot HA loadout. Zero certs invested into HA weapons (not counting the suppressed Beamer for avoiding minimap detection in smaller fights).

And I don't feel the least bit disadvantaged by it.

Lol, MOH: Warfighter fixed this with bipods, here is still a cone of fire and recoil, but very little (like irl). I think PS2 should have something like this (bi-pods). It would be very interesting to see on the PTS first, rather than just straight live. Have them for both HA and Infils. Maybe add the prone aspect to this? And don't start complaining about not being able to see prone players. I play on the lowest graphics settings possible, and I can STILL see players with camo that match the environment. It's called movement and muzzle flashes people!

Somewhat unrelated, but I absolutely hate prone and bipods (perhaps the only things I hate about BF3) and the camping that they promote -- hope to never see either of them weasel their way into PS2.

Prone is not needed for bipods. If bipods are put in PS2 (odds say no) then it would be a pair of telescopic poles that spike the ground when deployed. That's all it would take.

Anyway I don't think bipods have a place in PS2. Unless it's for sniper weapons only then they might be OP. Think of a Saw with bipods. The Saw already has a near perfect first shot, with a bipod it would only get better at range.

If I had it my way, the only weapons that could ever 1HK would be tank and liberator cannons. Fucking snipers. Fucking pump actions. And I even drive a Flash and enjoy my Fury. Fuck it, doesn't need that 1HK.
