Ehh...it's probably more awesome as you go deeper, it sucks to be a noob.

Follow the instructions on page 2 or 3: get the key, download the game (off Fileplanet of the EVE Online site, not Kazaa), and give them the key.

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. If you don't want to be hit get a blackbird(caldari cruiser) with ECM multispectral jammers.

However unless you're gonna go into some pirate infested system then there isnt going to be much to shoot. You can't just start wtfpwning in eve within 10 days. It takes time. This game really isn't for you people who are going to play less than a month.

Even if you go through lots of boring shit its really rewarding in the end when you have a BS, and a bunch of people to pvp with.

BTW Peace an interceptor will rape any cruiser out there. Except for maybe a rupture because if you put a 100mn AB and a 10mn MWD you'll go 6k/s, and the inty wont catch you. The key to getting an inty with a cruiser is a smartbomb and small guns. Otherwise you wont hit it.

Trust me. An Inty CAN loose to a cruiser. All you need on the cruiser is a langour drive distuptor. Now that 6 km/s becomes a mear 200k/ms. Also no inty can lone a Osprey these days. The shield boosters will fix that easily. You just simply cannot do enough damage to get past it. And eventualy you will run out of cap.

@ Aztec- If you want to be an ECM ship in our PvP combat we have just the slot for you. Problem is you also need a way to make some real money so you need to get combat skills too. Stealth takes a LONG time to get. ECM does not. You can be an effective ECM ship in about a month.

Join the PSU channel, talk to me or electro freak and we will get you earning some cash in no time... hope you went caldari tho. THey are the nub empire to join. Easy starters.

hahaha 28 km/s in a cruiser.... normally a cruiser runs around at around 200 m/s max speed with a MWD being around 1km/s . I being the over kill bastard that I am put 3 MWDs on my cruiser.

Also I put 2 MWDs on one of the shittiest ships in the game put two crappy guns on it and flew circles around a few pirates while scatching their shields. Not to kil them... just to piss them off. My ship goes too fast for their guns or missles to hit me.... so it really doesnt matter. I just fly around them annoying them.

Ahh Peace, but I destroyed the Terrorist spawn in Ota with not a single enemy shot impacting my shields. Every single shot (including missile) missed. Oh, and a pirate in a BS tried to shoot me in Aunenen. He got 2 hits on me (1/2 my shield) before I engaged my 10MN AB. Goodbye!

Interceptors PWN.

EDIT- Remember, anyone joining/trialing EVE, please stop by the PSU Weekly Gaming channel in ps-ts.net. You will get the game a WHOLE lot better if you have us help you. Don't pull a Dharkbayne and quit after 2 hours because you couldn't figure out where the dock button is (although its really not that hard.) EVE has a learning curve, but becomes simple once you've been educated. If you don't have a mic or feel like joining TS, join the PSU chat channel in EVE. If you don't know how to do that, send me an email at [email protected] or an EVEmail to Electr0freak (thats with a zero.)

You are a slut. I want an inty now but I want my battleship first.

Also as a note to all the new people, after much collaberation me and Electro decided that we were going to make a PSU corp. The main purpose of this corp is the destruction of enemy battleships. Most corp members will be running either Blackbird ECM cruisers or Kesstrals fitted with ECM. A few others will be in cruisers and me and electro will be in battleships.

The kessies go in first and lock up the battleship targeting systems, impulse engines, and warp drives. Next comes a blackbird or two which further lock up engines and warps and also start to drain away at his capacitor power. This set up would enable us to hunt the most powerfull people in the game in a mere month or two. The battleships would of course go last and pound the BS to death.

i have a character with the skills needed to get a cruiser, problem though, 1st, i have little money, in real life, in the game, i have literaly NOTHING, i gave it away, though, if the corp i was in at the time is still around, i could get some stuff im sure. ill think about restarting, but i wont say i will for sure.

Ray, dont restart. If you have skills for cruiser then just work your money back up. Its really not that hard to make 5 million.

You guys haven't seen the power of a crusader with medium pulse laser IIs.

I had a shield tank blackbird and I tryed against my corpmate, he ripped me to shreds. Cruisers will get owned by intys. You need to have either lots of small drones or small guns on it.

Also the new Assault Frigates are absolutely insane. They will kill any frigate and any cruiser, they've got super high resistance and tanking abilities. You would need a large squad of ships to take them down.
