so this is actually the final confirmation that the beta will start Feb 28th. UNLESS...once you redeem the beta key there is still some time to go before the PS2 beta program itself is released... basically you get your account enabled but waiting for the program to be downloadable to use it... hope it's not... BTW HOLY CRAP! Can't believe we'll be back on auraxis so soon! |

They need bf and cod players to approve planetside2 as a good game. so they give them keys. Vets would bash and hate it from start of beta over every small difference from ps1, so they dont get any key. *tinfoil hat off* Joking aside, there will be tons of keys for vets. They will be their main source for improvement ad balance ideas, and testing various game tactics. They cant expect someone who is new to game to understand it fast and start doing some organized stuff. Random betatesters will be there to test FPS part of game. Vets will be there to test planedside part. |

Players who have been playing PS1 for all these years are more excited for this game then you could possibly be. We kind of wanted special treatment, because hell we deserve it. We are happy about this "Development" but we are a little concerned if beta access is based off a key given in a magazine. We need more details on the actual process I think, but still we should've been the first to recieve any keys. Now some random joe who doesn't know anything about PS2 gets in guaranteed when the real concerned players for the game may not have a subscription to PCgamer don't and may need to resort to buy a magazine for a key... yuck. Just sucks a little, but let's hope we get more information about the process before getting ancy about it. ****LEFT MY MESSAGE THERE, BUT THANKS TO HIGBY AND DANICA THEY CONFIRMED PS1 VETS STILL GET PRIORITY!**** APPRECIATE THE RESPONSE GUYS.
