Reminds me of the Nod Venom out of C&C 3.
Very nice, loving the TR colors and fancy render. Are those clouds going to be in the skybox?

I can deal with the sci-fi canopy and appearance. PS's graphics were, for the time, decent. But they didn't have that feel of "It's the year 3100-something". Let's not forget, this was designed to be over a thousand years in the future.

Oh Tikuto, I've missed your antics ever since GA...
Either way, I'm thinking that the window isn't actually a red tint, even if it is TR. I think it could be a red herring. Rather, the red tint/color effect is because of a sunset. /gasp |

Anyone else notice the front wheel, just underneath where the front gun would be mounted?
Makes me wonder if vehicles like the Galaxy and mossie will require runways to take-off/land. Runways = airports, airports = cities perhaps? |

These are just out of game shots with fake lighting and static backgrounds right? Since the first two shots didn't exactly look that great so they wanted to give more of an idea of how it looks in game.
That or it looks like Unreal Engine 3 lol. Either way I like the new Reaver and Mosq models. |

I really hope its not Unreal Engine 3...or if it is they get rid of that horrible
bloom/depth of field/brown/blur look which ruins that engine...and its dull lighting. I really hope they go with a crisp, well lit and not desaturated environment, with a nice simple art style and keep it fresh. I think game designers have alot to learn from the simple nice ambiance of TF2 compared to some modern overly post processed games. That and a game world which feels cohesive, interactive and fun, and they'll be fine. |

For the billionth time people. Just because the aircraft has wheels does not mean it's gonna require a runway. The AV-8B Harrier has wheels and is a VTOL jet. |

Also, thanks for using a modern aircraft. You're helping to forward a point I made about how we may have a degradation of technology to more 'modern' equivalents. Also, Tikuto, I use antics in the best way possible-you were very funny. No crap came from my direction, mate. |

Picture of AH-64 The differences in artistic style seem too large, like they were all designed by another company. Just look at them side to side! Sorry. I get tired of the whole concept of factionalized looks in video games. And I hope the airplanes are VTOL, because they'd be a pain to use if not, but I also hope they have a capacitor bar or something that drains when they are below X speed, resulting in not being able to hover for an extended time. I think that would be a good compromise. Some would have larger hover reserves than others. Last edited by CutterJohn; 2011-02-11 at 06:32 PM. |
