Cops don't arrest people for underage drinking at parties. That's just how it is, there's too many people and if everyone is on private property, there is nothing they can do. Now disturbance of the peace, different story.

Taking advantage of drunk girls is so low, unless you're drunk and in which case probably can't even tell they are drunk, then excusable.

Wow Derfud, alot of things US kids do is illegal, and I'm sure you do some of those things. Has that ever stopped anyone?

I jaywalk, which is illegal. I do not follow speed limits all the time. If I go 5 over technicaly im breaking the law yet 5 over, yet hardly any cops will pull you over for it. Just cause its illegal doens't make it wrong. In Germany I'd be allowed to drink by now.

Jaywalking isnt illegal, it's simply breaking a bylaw. Most people dont jaywalk, that being said, you should probably know that it is only considered jaywalking if you are impeding traffic, most people run across a busy street when it's clear, if they dont, they get whacked.

I live in the same environment Trig described. I might have a beer or two here and there, but I never drink to get drunk. I dont dislike my generation for udnerage drinking, I dislike it for how they abuse it. It's so common I am mostly desensitized to it, but I have seen it's very real effects. One night my brother goes to a party on the beach and drinks so much rum he nearly gets alchohol poisioning. I have been to a party with a friend who could hardly keep herself standing, and and one point I had to pin her down to keep her from trying to take her clothes off thanks to some asshole's comments.

I have taken this information and decided that getting drunk is stupid, especially if it is simply for the sake of getting drunk.

If you were making an asshole out of yourself and threatening to exascerbate the situation by disrobing yourself, wouldn't you want a friend of yours to step in and save you from degrading yourself even further?

Hmm bit to late for that. Since over the summer after the local carnival a group had a party and afterwards I woke up half naked with only boxers on out on his front lawn. Wasn't embarrassed or anything. I got nothing to hide.

Wow, you completely missed the point. She isnt ugly at all, but I wouldnt want a friend of mine doing something they would highly regret later, especially If I was there and had a chance to stop it. Earlier this year, I may have saved her from suicide too.
