I wouldn't get too worked up over it. People are entitled to their opinions. If he thinks it looks like "junk" then so what? I'm not insulted by it. I loved the design for MAXes in PS1. In fact, I thought the graphics for PS still look amazing.

Maybe he was saying it looks like "junk" by today's standards. Perhaps the design wouldn't work so well for the current art direction of the game?

Don't let people's opinion on matters like that get you, or you're going to be one angry person. Trust me.

A diffrence in opinion does not bother me. What does is the attitude of this guy. He acts like a big shot because he is a beta tester. I couldn't care less otherwise.

The thread I linked to was one I created nine years ago. Look at the post date. I wrote it during Planetside 1's beta, not Planetside 2's beta, which has not begun yet. I have been a fan of Planetside pretty much since the beginning, and I've been a member of this forum for nearly ten years now. So, if I want to criticize Planetside 1, I think I'm entitled to do so.

This has become a very stupid tangent, so please do not continue it.

Loving the design, curious about the ability (considering jump has been denied). Maybe something akin to skimming around like in armored core? A jet assisted dash function?

Seems like some kind of maneuverability enhancer is the obvious option.
