SOE screws over their EU players A LOT. If not getting into a very early technical test has your feathers ruffled then you're in a for a world of disappointment.

Don't get me wrong though, I understand your frustration. It definitely is weird not to include EU players in a technical test of the game to test pings.

This tech test has very few players for a reason. They are attempting to scratch the surface and see how the game plays outside of their walls. This means they basically want to see that the game can stand up on its own even without high stress levels.

I wouldn't get too down on them for not inviting EU... Their servers are based in the U.S... Not too hard to see their logic behind choosing the small few for what is essentially a overhyped internal test.

Do we have any idea if there are multiple waves of tech test invites, or are all of the tech testers being invited today? I know that the tech test is a relatively small group, but I just am curious if I should keep constantly checking my inbox or if I don't need to worry about checking for an invite after this weekend until the end of the tech test and the start of the closed beta.

No idea. I'd check anyway, just in case they want to keep introducing new PC builds and introducing ever increasing numbers of people for the purpose of stress testing.

There are so many vets with the same specs as the seemingly random people they are inviting. With so few getting invited I have no idea why they don't reward the vets.

It's like yesterday when anybody who lined up outside got to play on the high end pc's in person just because they live near the area.
