I'm sure they'll have something like that to be honest. If not..they really should.

PS1 has this mechanic, so it only makes sense to carry this over to PS2.

They have XP boost for under populated factions in PS1...

Not major boosts... but over time it really does add up.

Plus having more to shoot at = even more XP (provided you don't also spend more time on the spawn screen

)

For the Emprah......oops i mean for Terra! I am new and don't know much about PS1, but I am all for TR as they seem more advanced than NC, and aren't as alien as VS, which is my second choice. anyways when ever i finally get to play PS2, i am making a TR HA look like a space marine.

If you have two factions, there is the potential for X to totally swamp Y. If you add in a third faction, it makes it a little harder for X to completely swamp Y, since they will also have Z to worry about.

In the long run, its still possible for one faction to totally dominate the other two in pure numbers; but it isn't likely.

So honestly, I am not worried about how large any given factions population is. I'm more worried about their number of cohesive Outfits.

i have been on the fence(s) about this, but i like to pilot unique aircraft an the most unique flight mechanic appears to belong to the Scythe.

So that makes me VS. i might not like the color purple that much, but if lots of bullets make you TR(Red) and powerful damage makes you NC(blue) mixing them together and flying a UFO makes you VS(purple).

Red+blue=purple.

its the only way i can justify picking a faction for one aircraft.

I'll be playing as NC.

There have been a few empire comparisons so here is mine.

TR: Organized Military force and state of the art equipment.
VS: Scientist and Scholars using hyper advanced Alien tech.
NC: Miners, farmers, and working class citizens using re-purposed industrial equipment.

Yet NC still wipes the floor with the other two factions.

I thought NCs were rogue CEOs of big companies/mercenaries, hence the name conglomerates? They aint working class citizens in my book! Repel all the rebels! March with the reds!
