Usually these go from early morning Friday to early morning Monday, there is always a server downtime associated.

I really don't think there is something free in Planetside, I don't understand why some guys think the app will be free, if since the first announcement they where clear it was going to cost!
I just hope they give some SC to the people who is going to buy the app, like me, and in a double SC weekend, this would be awesome!

Maybe they were able to make it so there is no longer downtime needed.

It was strange, my outfit were killing in Mani Biolab when we suddenly received 2000 px for capturing it.
The exp rate change in game on the fly! Them we rushed to the VS gate and started camping enemy vehicles for an awesome amount of certs!

I used mine a few hours ago, worked fine and the SC was doubled.

I am in Japan, used my SC card and did NOT get double SC. I emailed customer support though. Hopefully they help me out.

There's currently a problem with their SC system. there's a thread about it on the planetside2.eu forums. I'm still waiting for 2x SC orders i put in last night (2nd was when i thought i'd retry it when 1st didnt materialize after a few hrs).
Sadly looks like the support for the SC aspect of the game is mostly on Easter hols and wont be back till after easter (not sure if germany get bank holiday monday)

So if your not getting your SC just sit tight i guess.
