quote from official soe forums, by virrago:
Far as I know, there are no discussions to limit access to beta based on region at this time. so either we europeans will get beta access like everyone else, or soe didn´t even inform their own community relations manager about this.

I think I am going to say that beta would start around a week after PCG Keys are released. Thats my hunch. |

Probably after GDC at the very least. But, I guess that is about a week after beta keys go out. :P

I'm not sure if this has been noted yet, but on the part of the PC Gamer article that contains the beta code it states "you may not discuss it with anyone except other players through the Planetside 2 Beta game testing forum"
I would think that confirms new forums specifically for Planetside 2 instead of the current Planetside forums they have at the moment? |

As much as we all love PSU, the game does need some official forums. |

Does anybody know, if I get a beta key from PC Gamer, and then I get another beta key for being a PS1 subscriber, will it matter which one I use in regards to actually getting into beta earlier? Or does having a beta key = being in beta right away? (once beta starts)

I don't think we even know if there are beta keys involved for PS1 vets. We don't even know how PS1 vets are being defined. They could simply just send you a beta invite if you've been previously subbed to PS1. Really wish the FAQs they are putting out would be a little more detailed.

The people who buy the magazines are going to have to wait for the vets to get e-mails for their beta keys. I don't believe they give you a "VIP" listing like the vets do. So when beta opens you will have to wait a little while after for you to get in... unless your a vet. That's how it seems to be going at this point.
