Some guy on a Planetside Players Facebook page uploaded a screenshot of a Vanu soldier firing his sissy little pew-pew laz0r. I don't know where he got it from. He claims he found it on a search engine. It's most definitely from PS2, it's got their almost-pink tights and it's that bald angry black guy from the official website's wallpaper section.

I think it's actually a screenshot from one of the gameplay videos, in all honesty. Not a new screenshot.

Maybe the Vanu lack helmets to balance out the power of their new more powerful Plasma weapons in PS2. Their guns can cut through any armor. But their pride an vanity prevents them from wearing helmets making them more vulnerable to headshots.

Anyway how come the second screenshot doesn't seem to have the same quality lighting? First one looks pretty awesome.

So I have a question about the trailer: Have we determined if the Vanu Hover vehicle's in the trailer are in fact the new Magrider? I didn't see any turret's but as well all know that's not necessarily how the magrider rolls...eerrr...floats...

What you still don't see, is the trail of death he left off to the right of the screen.

Warpgate: Maybe it only shows the bubble when someone warps in.

Rock: Could just be an illusion. His back foot does look to be on the same plane as his front one.

Tower: It's clearly a dinosaur, so it must be a barney. Ok ok... It's probably a VS max falling over dead. That would make the most sense, as it would make all 3 empires have a dead guy in the image. I suspect this was intentional. Notice how all 3 dead guys are obscured in some way?

Females: One of three things. 1. The female models aren't done. 2. Females don't have gigantic racks that make them stand out. 3. SOE thinks females wont play PS2, so they didn't bother adding them.

If this is the VS screeny, it is from the trailer.

Mag: In the trailer, you can see that there are two positions. There just wasn't a gunner in it.

If they are putting females in the game, they better put futa in too so no one is offended!

srsly though hope the females are very military looking. I like sexy elves with extream confidence in thier outfits but here I just want to shoot them (errr... aswell as the males of course).

Several notes :

1) We haven't seen any bases or cities. Smed himself said the towers and bases are going to be a lot bigger(in size) in PS2.

2) Second screenie seems to show ForgeLight's brand new weather system. Just look at the fog. Interesting.

3) After seeing the first shot, it suddenly comes to my mind that PS2's art direction resembles a bit of RAGE(ID Soft/Bethesda).

I think I forgot to mention the red/orange goggle lenses on the rexo helmet REALLY work well and make the TR look awesome. No way can they make VS or NC better than that.

The weapon the VS on the left is holding... empire specific sniper rifle? Long with a thing on the front and a thing on the top. Not like the other Pulsar shots. Comparing to @20+ ish in the teaser.
