My Razer Deathadder is much better quality than my old one, and I'll be sure to make this one last as well.
But see, I drop my MX518 like 3 times a week... And it still works

Aye, you can get them for left or right handers.
The new ones, V4, are around £85/$90 on Amazon.

http://www.evoluent.com/vm4r.htm

It's a bit hidden on the site, so here's the DPI bumf:

It's got 4 DPI settings:
2600, 1800, 1300, and 800.

Even if you don't get any RSI pain, it is worth looking into IMO, it is perfect for gaming, and very comfortable to use.

Don't you have to move your entire arm? I totally agree with the reasons that they're beneficial, but gaming generally isn't cited as one of them.

I'd also suggest getting something slightly cheaper than the evoluent, if you just want to try an upright mouse. Of course, if $90 is nothing to you, then never mind.

Wouldn't it be logical to move it to General Gaming Discussion? I mean this poll is about gaming mice...

Do the Corsair K series still have key fade or did they fix that?

The K90 didn't have it to my knowledge, but they're going to be releasing "fixed" K60s, though I don't think they're out yet.

That said, they'll still be horribly broken as mechanical keyboards.

I've tried all 3 companies. Razor was the worst by far. Logitech is the best in my experience. Love my G700 mouse.

Some reviews claimed the G700 has accuracy issues in wireless mode, anyone experienced that?

Nope, just your hand. Same as a normal mouse.

Maybe they're missing a trick then, because for me, that's its main use.

Christ, I wish $90 was nowt.
I've got an 8 week old baby
I spent ages researching what to get, and at the time, it was the best choice when facing not gaming at all due to RSI.
It's calmed down loads over the years now though.
I also use a G13 Gameboard which really helps too.

A simple Logitech V450 Nano 2 button 1 wheel wireless laser mouse!
Also the M505 is pretty much the same mouse

cool feature that saves battery life is the mouse basically turns off when you stop moving it, and instantly turns back on when you start moving, NO lag at all and extends the life of the battery a LOT.

battery powered, toss in 2 Energizer Lithium AA batteries and you probably only need to change it every 9-12 months. the M505 claims a 15 month. (well the software says I have 396 days left, I put new non-lithium batteries in last month).

plus it is only about $30 maybe $40 (if anyone gets this mouse make sure it is the good one! They have a budget version that is not as good.

Also great mouse for Laptops so you can buy one mouse and use it at home and while traveling, I bought another one for my laptop case though.

But I spent years molding my arm into that position!

Well, as the fuzzy green thing says, you must unlearn what you have learned

Logitech. I've had an MX5xx something for about 10 years now and it's still perfect, buttons are still fairly crisp, etc. I also have the VX nano for my laptop, had it for about 3 or 4 years now, and again - perfect. The VX has survived 2 tours in Iraq despite never being blown out (all the fine powdery sand and whatnot). Not a single complaint.

Tried a Razor once. Didn't like the ergonomics. Never bothered again.

I use a Xai ATM, but i dont feel its as accurate or smooth as my imperiator, unlike the imperiator its reliable and comfortable though.
