Great post, and, now that I think of it, they really are incredible in their dedication to their games and the community. Keep it up, SOE!
EDIT: Where can I rate this as excellent? Last edited by Program; 2012-07-29 at 10:35 PM. |

As a longtime MMO and FPS gamer, the idea of blending the two is bloody brilliant.
From the various videos I have seen along with replies to people on site, I can see that the Dev team for PS2 are all willing to participate with the community as a whole. This is something some companies seem to have forgotten but not you guys. Your passion to make a great game really shines through and I wish you guys success as you work on this project and any others in the future. |

In my books SOE are still making amends for there past failures *cough* NGE-SWG and BFR's. My Appreciation will only come once the full version of the game is released and i've played it for myself. "Hope is the first step on the path to disappointment".

Thanks for your hard work and dedication to bring back the greatest FPS ever made for a reboot.
Even in spite of the let down on the beta delay, I have mad respect that you all are more concerned about giving the fans what you KNOW Planetside 2 needs instead of what we "think" it needs. Keep on killing it. |

My enthusiasm for this game has waxed and waned. Even the direct dev participation with the crowd here at PSU didn't excessively thrill me. I thought yes, that's nice, we're a ready-made focus group and they're making use of that, but they're pretty much going to do what they want.
Two small individual events won me over: 1) We got Don Ferrone back to write the new music. 2) We got a dev walkthrough that promised us -- in precisely these words -- GIANT ASS VEHICLE BATTLES. Now I can't help but grin whenever I think about this game. No matter how long it takes to crank out, now matter to what minute degree targets are moved back or diminished (I'm still skeptical of the 2000-per-cont figure), I know it's in good hands. And it's gonna be great. Take your time, gents. Polish it up. You only get one crack at this. |

Developing a game is hard enough, this team is creating a game in a genre very few have dared to go.
They take on this huge task and people complain about a beta delay of a week? Playing in the beta is a privilege, your turn will come. Thank you planetside dev team for all you're hard work! www.ToxinGamers.com - Posted via Tapatalk

I'll appreciate when I play the game and if it delivers. I have learned not to be too rose tinted glasses when playing/waiting for a video game. Too many companies take advantage like Funcom/Ersling, Darkfall online/Tasos, Warhammer online, Apb. I do thank the hard working developers whom put tons of dedication towards the game.
The developers and company will get all the praise and support once the game is live and if it stands trail to the hype. |
