Erm, you misunderstand this greatly.

These folks are no commanders, they are mere toys to get more publicity. They have no authority over any faction in the game, nor even a clue.

We already have alliances on several servers. I know Mattherson got a stong VS ally going, same for miller (as i pretty much formed that one.)
I dont give a damn about other servers. I dont play there, i cant affect them at all, nor should i even be able to as i again dont play there. Communications between miller and any other server would be pointless, as we cant actually interact with each other.

Also, there is nothing to participate. What could those "commanders" do? Tell us to attack something? yea, every server is different at any point of the day, so thats impossible. There is nothing those folks can do on a global scale, and this whole event breaks if they bring it down to a server scale and join a specific server. That entire server would yell "GTFO".

That is where you misunderstand me: I hope they do, for that precise reason, so I can tell them to FUCK OFF in person and embarrass them and sony's little PR/marketing scheme.

As for the private comms server, yeah pretty much, just for coordination sake.

Probably a west coast server since that is where a lot of the SOE peeps play. I know we have a few on Connery. I even heard Smed plays on there.

And I don't care who is leading the Terran Republic, because they already have me as a Tactical Forecaster!

Meh, factions are balanced well enough minus NC getting more weapon buffs.
I gotta read up on the hate when fighting magriders, because personally I think they are by far the weakest tank, (One guy in a sundy can solo it, not joking)

Just surprised by how much butthurt there is with who's representing the faction <.< Did some of y'all expect popular movie actors or something? xD Still looking forward to this myself and at the end of the day that's all I care about

I know, right? I'd totally rather have these guys leading me than some fake-war-is-serious-business outfit leader.

Actually i'm probably just saying that because of Seananners. I mean, we'd totally get destroyed with him leading us, but at least it'd be hilarious.

Anyone else see new buildings in the faction specific trailers? I think this is going to come with Searhus. The Showdown, on the other hand, will have 3 factions... FIGHTING!... Um...with guns...
