I knew a good deal of people who played EQ who had women characters (and talked like them, saying "***" or the like) just to get ph@t l3wts from people looking for some cyb0r s3x0r.

Granted, the majority of the online gaming community at large is and will probably remain in the male majority. Regarding the MMORPG comment, I speak from personal experience involving females I know, as im really not too interested in playing EQ . On the other hand, I know exactly what you mean. I have freinds with the same "being female gets me advantages" mentality.
