I'll reveal why I couldn't go to Mobilization Alpha, right now. The full story. I live in Miami. MA was to be held in Orlando. This is the equivalent of an All-You-Can-Eat buffet at the House of Filet Mignion. You just have to go, because it's going to be dirt cheap to get there. I pay no airfare. NO airfare. Whilst some of you will be burning over $500 on this trip, I would pay $360. Secondly, I've been here since Fall 2002. I've always wanted to see some of you in person (not you SDM). So...I knew my parents would have a hard as hell time accepting this idea. Who would let a mid-teenager play with a bunch of people he'd never seen before in real life, all away from the safety of the home? I had a hell of a time convincing them. I even resorted to having my mom come along, because they don't believe I have the social skills and all to travel. I'm not embarrassed of having her come along. In the end, I had them. With all their fears alieved (with help from two very special Event Coordinators ), I was set. But there was one problem. Money wasn't it, school wasn't it (my school fucked me over big time. I would have to go on a school weekend), it was my damn brother. I have two brethren, and no sisters. I am eldest. My younger brother continually abuses my youngest brother. He is fourteen, the yougest is but ten. It's really sickening. Brothers fighting is one thing, abuse is another. Every day it's something. Every day the abuse from the middle one starts a physical fight. Middle has a problem with all of us. His behavior at school is despicable. He's not maleducated. Both me and my youngest brother have impeccable behavior. However, Middle is a real jackass. He's a bully at school, and justifies it because "He's not at the bottom of the food chain anymore." It's as if he lakes the rules and then disobeys on purpose. He's done horrible things to us which I will keep private, and even put the entire family at risk once, which puts us at risk of losing everything we own because he lied to a counselor. He has shown utter contempt for authority, which is evident in the words he has used behind my mom's back to describe her. He basically has a problem with me, my littlest brother, my mom, and my dad, and still thinks he's right. Now, without me or my mom standing guard (Dad is a surgeon. He works hard and is almost never home during the day during the weekdays. He can't stop working to play UN Peacekeeper.), we don't doubt that serious harm could occur. While there techinically is a way to either separate the two or have my dad at home (by getting another surgeon to cover him for the weekend), I refuse to create a disruption that big because I want to go on a damn trip. Nothing short of So that's why I can't go, PSU. It's my fucking brother. I tell you, I was ready. Every problem was solved. My dad was ready to hear the payment info. However...some things just won't happen. And that's why I won't be able to go to PSU:MB either, unless someone mends his ways. Furthermore, I don't think blowing off $500 just to get there is a possibilty. PSU: Mob. Delta (The Greeks didn't have anything for "C", did they?) is possible, but by then I'll be 18. That's two years off, and we still haven't even seen if Alpha works. I don't even know if PSU will last that long. Furthemore, that's the year I go off to merry college, and I'll be preparing the entire year. So...I've lost a golden opportunity. In compensation (Triggar felt bad for me and all, she's had some of the same problems with her brothers and sisters), the 'object' that she's giving me that we've mentioned is a gift box, and I'll be damned if someone objects to that.

Something along the lines of "We can't let *Youngest brother* along with *younger brother*."

The issue here is not that I'm socially dysfunctional and that I can't go without my mom. I'll try to make it to Delta. However, they don't want me to go, and I'm not going to be a dick and complain that I'm being socially repressed or some garbage like that. I accept the advice from my parents that they don't think I'm ready to go alone. Next year maybe, but it's going to cost an arm and a leg. By the way, I said *nothing* short of (This is because he was an idiot and put it in a boxy section of his desk, which overheated it. The capacitors on the motherboard literally are bulging, the insides having melted.) My parents have been none too quick to repair this: parts arrived today to build a new one. Obviously, if he behaved well, he'd have gotten one ASAP. However, this has caused a negative change in behavior: He pushes to use my youngest brother's computer, stores his digital photos on my computer, and frequently causes a comotion when my youngest brother wants him off his computer, but Middle won't go. HIPAA regulations prevent me from telling the damage my brother has done to my youngest brother.
