Beta on Monday/Tuesday is a pretty specific time frame, and the most recent update.
The previous update of "More than a week" means to me between next Monday-Infinity. Not as exciting.

But that's just me. I make no promises I know what I'm talking about.

I'm happy they're inviting more to the tech test. That means there's less people to choose from for the first beta wave since they'll already be in beta.

Because they haven't planned out the quotas they want to fill with each wave of invites

More tech testers now doesn't automatically equate to less beta testers later. I can guarantee with the number of keyed/vets wanting to get in, we won't be operating with a single server, and it would be to the benefit of everyone to make sure the available space on each continent/server is filled.

I think you misunderstood him. He's not upset about more testers being invited in. He's happy more testers are being invited in, because that means there's a greater probability of him getting an invite, since the pool of "stand by" beta testers gets smaller each time a wave of invites goes out.

That's not what I meant. I mean its one less person that has the chance of being picked first in the beta because technically they'll already have access.

At least one server per region they are placing them in would make sense. So they can test connection to each region server.

There already exists an EU techtest server along with the one in US. I think the EU one is in Amsterdam if I remember correctly. Of course there is likely to be more than just two areas at launch. I would expect them to have a few servers in asia too - but that might come later.
