I took a look at his twitter profile and he is a coder of some sort.

EDIT: This, after a quick google. "Senior Programmer". I would say that's a higher up position.

I hate all this beta teasing! I've been off work all week and bored as hell as the only game I've wanted to play hasn't even been released in closed public beta yet. I would love to wake up tomorrow morning, grab a coffee, download the client and sit down to a day of testing and bug reporting on this game. At least I can tell the wife I've done something productive all day!

Try out Tribes: Ascend, I've been playing that game quite a bit and honing my shooting skills.

I wouldn't count on tribes honing your shooting skills for any game other than tribes. Even the bullet weapons have slow projectiles, barring the shotgun and a couple of the pistols.

I have and didn't really enjoy it. To get any significant upgrades you have to buy them or play the game for a whole day just to get enough XP to spend on anything and the only way to get XP is to shoot people which is an almost impossible task as they're all skiing and jump packing all over the place! I hated Halo because in order to kill someone you had to strafe around them in a kind of ballroom dance shootout. Tribes is that with jetpacks....but thanks for the suggestion, rant over

My bet is that the first test is going to be on the 7th.

That would be the one year mark of Planetside 2 being officially announced.

Well, the 7th is a Saturday, so it would make sense with the whole " Technical test in a few days " thing. Or whatever they're calling it right now.

1. That theory's been beaten to death already.
2. RadarX already said there's no correlation. The days were given out so Planetside Vets could enjoy Planetside Day and 30 days is what the subscription system understands.
